Price: $10.00 USD

Can you tell me if this is a gold marking?

If not - what else could it be?

Thanks in advance for your answer…

Answer: G’day and many thanks for your query

The simple answer is NO!

It doesn’t mean the ring is not gold though, as this mark may just be a design mark or store id or similar

There is NO central registry of marks which basically means anyone - anywhere - can make and stamp their jewelry with whatever they want.

As the largest manufacturing base in the world today is China and South easy Asia - can you imagine a jeweler manufacturer there complying with European or British or America standard hallmarks?

I don’t think so.

You need to go along to your local FRIENDLY jeweler and have them test the gold quality of the ring. There will be a small fee for this but at least then you’ll know for sure.

You might like to put this question on my blog at http://www.how2valuejewelry.com/ as someone else may have already done this research on another item and could have answers for you.

Hope this helps….
